Hive, Jobs, Workers, connections, engagement and MONEY!
Good morning buzzers, after a very interesting discussion this morning, I thought I would reach out and ask for some opinions.
Money? Jobs? Hive? The future?
Ok, so I have no idea how to get into this post, or what it's really about...
Does anyone know of anyone hiring staff on Hive? Or where to find 'Hive jobs?' Is there such a place? Is there any project even in a financial position to offer such a thing?
Devs/artists are always in demand for every project.
Community managers, content creators, marketing/promo staff, Curators, P2E gamers? As we head into another bull market, all these positions will soon be available. But isn't the best time to recruit during the bear market? When it's actually people interested in fulfilling these roles, not just looking for 'easy money'?
Sloth.Buzz for example will be looking to Hire users going forward, from curators to discord community event planners to DJs and Radio hosts. However like all projects, money is tight, Does anyone want to work for free? Join the discord and ask for more info. Discord
It would seem 99% of hive projects are in the same boat, well let's be honest, most crypto projects are in the same boat. Each project starts with a dev with an idea, and most don't get further than that. The dev might build their idea, but without the support of a team, they're doomed to fail!
Most projects rely on 'community helpers', the free 'workers' that do all the donkey work from community activity to spreading awareness and getting new users involved. How can Hive projects position themselves to bring in these people? There are already a few 'key' players who attempt this, but within a small blockchain, with an emphasis on 'tribes' how can we truly push into the mainstream?
Is there a happy position where we can all come together for the greater good? Does anyone even read 99% of the content that floats around Hive? The Whales don't, they already have their upvotes, so they don't need to engage. The minnows read a little more, but have their tribes and their votes are trivial. The 'middle class' of Hive is the answer, and yet, most bury themselves into one tribe or one niche and never truly push the Hive ecosystem as a whole.
How can we continue to build, grow and develop Hive under such circumstances? How can we onboard the mainstream when we're not only fighting other web3 platforms but fighting between ourselves for the scraps of 'new' users on Hive? Of course, everyone comes in with great intentions, then they have the brainwave to create a project or community, however, most are following in the footsteps of those who have come before. What would it take for people to come together and unify for a better Hive?
Could we for example have all music under one community? Or all artists? Could we have Devs working together and sharing ideas for the better of Hive? How do we unify the decentralised world to bring the best out of it?
Well, I'm not sure this post even made sense, but, who knows! Maybe there's something you can take away from it. Why not join sloth.buzz and see how you can make a difference? Let slothbuzz support you on your hive journey, be you a dev, a creator, a curator or a lurker! If nothing else, you'll have some fun in the discord!
