Sloth's 10% Club! A look into the future with a Grammarly Pro post?

Good evening, my buzzing beauties!

So, today, I bit the bullet and finally purchased Grammarly Pro! I've had the free version for some time, and it's great at correcting my spelling and the occasional capitalisation I forget (like I do EVERY single time!!!). I've been getting pestered by them to upgrade to pro, and they have a 'black Friday event' open with 50% off, so I thought, why not? Let's try it out and see if it does make a difference.

Recently, they've been following the lead of everyone else and adding more' AI' smartness to their setup. Apparently, it can now 'rewrite' whole sentences/paragraphs for you! I mean, that sounds exciting, right?

I have a unique writing style, or so I tell myself. I'm basically like an ADHD-buzzing sloth! One minute, I'm here; the next, I'm over there and back again! Buzzing around while never really getting anywhere! I'm sure there are a few things I can learn from this upgrade. I won't be using it to write my posts, but I'll certainly be keeping an eye on its suggestions to see if and where I can improve (which is probably a lot!).

With the 50% sale, it's only costing me about seven bux a month, so if I can push out at least 3-4 hive posts a month, I should have it covered! Heck, with this upgrade in sloth efficiency, I should be looking at making $7 a post, right? Right? Well, probably not. Apparently, that would require more users actually reading my posts...or maybe just voting. Who needs to read anything on Hive when we can throw random votes out?

This leads me to the next point of this post. The 10% vote. 'Sloth. You always give 10%' I hear you all shouting! And let's be honest, my 10% is nothing in the grand scheme of things. However, it allows me to curate MORE content as my power doesn't go down as quickly. And, it means I'm not wasting votes as there's 0 revenue for you or I if i vote less than 10%. I feel spreading my 10% to as many posts and people as possible is much more effective than spraffing 100% on 2-3 posts a day? Now, I'm sure someone somewhere has worked out the actual earning to cost value, there's a better term for that right?

So, my 10% gets me a lot further over the day. Not all the posts I would vote on are there when I scroll through them, so it's great to keep some power in reserve for things that pop up later! It makes sense to me, and I think 10% votes are much better than nothing. Now you can ALL, yes even you, give me 10%. All those 10% add up!

So, what do you think? Can you notice any difference in my writing style? Does it look more grammatically correct? Does it seem any less 'all over the place'? I'll be honest, there weren't 'too many' issues to correct, mostly just capitalization, as I mentioned earlier! Sloth steps, we'll improve together!

Plus, I haven't used the AI writing feature on any of the posts so far. So let's try it out!

Let's turn sloth into a robot!

Now Grammarly, write this again but in a better tone...

More constructive?

What are your thoughts on my post? Can you identify any differences? Does it seem more grammatically correct and focused? I appreciate your feedback—there weren't many issues to address, primarily just some capitalization. Together, let's continue to make progress, step by step!

More inspirational?

Or just more direct? This is probably my key area to work on!

What do you think of my post? Can you see any differences? Is it more grammatically correct and organized? There were only a few minor issues, mostly with capitalization. Let's improve together step by step!

I guess we must also consider whether this is a form of 'AI writing' or simply a tool to improve our writing. I think there's a fine line between using tools that help us improve and tools which are basically a 'cheat' to the system. For me, I'll stick with my crazy writing style, maybe taking the odd nudge to 'correct' my tone and grammar occasionally.

Until next time,
Sloth out!
