Monthly posting badge panik!!! And another awesome tool!

Good afternoon my buzzing wonders! Anyone who's been following me over the course of this month will know I have challenged myself to get the monthly posting badge this month! Clearly, had I thought about it, I would have attempted this last month, with only 28 days, or even next month with 30 days. However, being the super ADD sloth that I am, I didn't think about it at all until I noticed I was on the run of posting and had managed to accrue some weekly posting badges!

Of course, this meant I got myself into an exciting buzz of content, which inevitably wore off after a few days, there have been some lulls in the quality of content, luckily, so far, we've managed to smash at least one post a day!

I'm actually looking forward to the next Hive power-up day, where I like to do my dive into my stats and see how I'm getting on. Although, since we're being open here, I have had a nosy at them a couple of times this month already, all in the name of research my dear sloths!

My first look was the other day during the weekly PIMP meeting, the conversation of curations, auto voting and APR came up, I had a little look and noticed my APR is sitting just over 7% not bad, especially since the other month it was a lot less! I put this down to my hybrid mix of manual and auto votes! I mainly use the auto votes as a way to ensure I do 'some' curations on a daily basis, as I'm prone to missing a day here or there when I do it 100% manually!

Today was another excuse for me to peek into my stats, I can't remember, oh wait, yes I can, someone commented on another of my posts regarding Hive stats, total users, new daily sign-ups etc. As a sloth who loves a little DYOR, especially if it's on someone else behalf, strange, I know! I jumped at the chance to find such statistics. It didn't actually take me very long at all, initially, I went to a couple of sites I thought may have the info hivebuzz.me and hivestats.io, but realising the rankings page on hivebuzz would have taken me hours to scroll, I jumped on over to discord to ask the OGs!

The pizza room didn't really help, the slothbuzz room is too full of new buzzing sloths looking to make some waves on Hive so I ended up at the terminal!

No, not the end of the road, but nearly the beginning, I was sent to have a look at HiveSQL, of course, @arcange has the keys to everything! (Wasnt going to tag him, but then, I realised, if people click on his name, they may find his awesome stats posts and tools!). HiveSQL is the tool for the devs out there looking to make some info posts, for a tiny fee of 1 HBD you can have full access. However, for today's DYOR journey, I just needed to look at the Status page.

Almost 2.5 MILLION hive accounts, with over 107 MILLION comments shared over Hive! That's some pretty cool figures! Maybe we should try using these for more 'onboarding'! Arcange actually provides some awesome graphs and charts to maximise this effect, people should share these more! Recent stats post

I couldn't decide which of these charts I thought was more revealing, so here are both! Make sure to drop arcange a follow, lots of cool developments from him on top of these awesome stats updates!

Anyway, where was I, I'm sure there was a different point to this post at the beginning...

Oh yeah! Stats, Sloth and my challenge to post all month!

So, as the meme at the top shows, I set myself into panik for a buzzing second! Trying to get this monthly author badge has been weighing me down! And something slowing a sloth can't be helpful! However, after my slight panik at the red light!!! (Green light, come back!) red light! I realised I haven't posted today, hence am not on track to get the badge, let's hope this post is enough to set things back into the green!

Well, that's all folks! Hope you have a rest of the day, it's almost the weekend! Probably my biggest challenge to this whole mission of daily posting! Looking forward to seeing how it affects my progress towards my main Hive goals in the coming power-up day post! Until then, well, hopefully until tomorrow, Sloth out!
