Multitasking or sole focus?
Should we be multi-tasking, focusing on many tasks at one time, or should we be laser-focused on one task to ensure we're giving it our full attention, therefore, giving our "best" output?
We'll right now I have 15 tabs open on this browser, I have another article half finished, I'm listening to Spotify, and a podcast. I've just flicked over to another tab to check my stakes on GLX, I'm creating memes for my posts, checking DreemPort to curate other content and trying to keep up with Twitter. (What is Elon doing today!)
Not to mention my puppy whining as he looks for attention, the rain pitter-pattering off the roof and the coastguard helicopter that's just flown over for the 5th time this hour.
Is it productive or slowing me down? I need to eat, probably have a smoke, make more coffee, and take care of personal hygiene and household chores, I have games to play and money to earn, how can one person do it all if not by multitasking?
Make that 3 posts in writing, but at least now the dog is having a nap.
I've eaten, done some housework and freshened up, time to finish off this post (having just finished the third one I started) and see what else I need to do today around Hive. Checking out Discord, telegram and other social media. Catch up with some of my favourite streamers on Twitch, and play some P2E games myself.
Onto my third podcast this morning also, well this afternoon now! I think I take in more information when I'm dealing with multiple tasks, although not 100% focused on any, I get more t's crossed and i's dotted by multitasking!
Enough time wasted this afternoon, bring on the HIVE VALIDATOR NODE!!!
