Good afternoon buzzers! It’s the weekend at last! The sun is shining, the weather is good! I like it, well, sometimes! Can we complain its too hot already? The joys of being british! Its always too hot or too cold, theres no inbeteen! We should really make the most of the nice days and enjoy them when we have them, they dont come around often!

I was out walking with the dog the other day and we passed a field, right at the gate lay 3 highland cows, big furry beasts with horns! Not the type of thing you’d want charging at you! Of course, my dog being a young pup, decided he was going to bark at them! And a couple of them stood up, so I made a hasty retreat! I turned back around near the end of the field, to see them watching me as I went!

Luckily theyre not known for being agressive, and I’m sure the tiny little bush and wire fence between us would have stopped them had they decided to charge! Okay, maybe not, but I wasnt too worried! If worst come to worst I’d have used my super sloth speed to get away!

Just before getting home we spotted a few swans, they seem to come every year to the beach just beside my house. The doggo decided to jump on the wall to get a better look, and they started spreading their wings, looking big and mean! Another hasty retreat for us!

I wonder what would be worse, attack of the swans or attack of the highland cow! I think I’ll try avoid both to be honest! They both pack a punch! Espeiclly for a sloth, and I don’t imagine the doggo would be much help either! Big softie would run away and leave me behind!

I figure at this point I might as well aim for 5 pictures and add this to the photo essay community! Nice little community to get involved with. Make sure to check them out! They’re like a small family of swans! Whats a baby swan called? And whats the collective for a group of swans? Anyone know?

Got to love wild life spotting, especially on these nice summery days! Everything looks so much better when the suns got its hat on and is shining down upon us!
