Slothing my way through hive finding new communities to LOVE!

Thanks to hotpot for the image!

So, the 500 words a day challenge, I love it! Struggling with daily motivation makes it hard to continue blogging, most communities have a theme or general topic to blog about, and to be honest, this sloth brain is far too frantic for that! Every morning i wake up full of beans, topped up with plenty of coffee beans! And i'm ready to go! I dont always have something to go on, but none the less, i'm ready! I should point out, this is internally, on the outside, i'm as slow as a sloth can be!

Look, 100 words already! This is fun! Soooo glad I found this 500 words community, and yes, i'm pandering a little here! I want those juicy upvotes! But, in reality, like most of us, I just want that little notification bell to say someone has read / likes or commented on your post! The little rush of adrenaline as you explore the possible new connections!

I was asked an interesting question the other day. "How important is social media in your life". I thought it was particularly interesting, something I hadn't thought too much about. I don't use "personal" social media, no facebook or instagram. I have a twitter but it's for CT, not "rl" twitter. I live under the sloth, and anyone who knows me relates to that, but, for the most, I'm just sloth! So, social media is a tool for me, a way to connect and grow as a writer, communicator and general life sloth!

The question proposer had a similar view, although he focused more on the family and friend social aspect, along with the ability to meet new people. How would you rate social media in your life? Does it play a big part or do you avoid it?

Well, 500 words is a little longer than I thought for general ramblings and thoughts. Time to finish my coffee, roll a smoke and see where the day takes me! Hopefully like my awesome AI art above (and below) my day is full of peaceful thoughts and transcending reality! Don't get me wrong, life is great, but escaping it is fascinating!

I've recently been looking into lucid dreaming, no real results to report as of yet but hopefully one day soon. Dreaming has always been relatively lax for me, but recently I have noticed myself remembering small snippets of dreams, so I guess I'm moving in the right direction? I think the main aspect I am enjoying is the relaxing / meditation whilst going to sleep. Seems to make me fall asleep a lot quicker!

HAs anyone got any strange / fascinating dream stories to share? I'm always interested in hearing about other peoples realities, it's amazing how different we can perceive even the smallest of differences. The internet has opened us up to so much more information and possibilities, whilst dumbing us down and stoping us thinking! What a time to be alive! The only thing certain is the future is uncertain!
