Sunday Funday, UK King coronation, Sloth thoughts
Good evening buzzers! Happy Sunday! Is it Sunday Funday for you, or are you having a serious Sunday?
I'm going to be honest, I've sort of set my sights on posting daily for a month again, maybe longer, however, on days like today I find myself struggling for inspiration to even get to the laptop. Alas, I'm here, I'm striving to move forward and make my Sunday count!
My first stop today was Leo threads, I'm fairly enjoying the new short-form buzz we can create there, without 'spamming' my main feeds with 'full posts'. There's a real buzz happening with Leo threads since they updated their UI, pushing into the next stage of Leo evolution.
Not only this they're currently running an event to create activity and reward users. It's being run through Zealy or something, I must admit, I haven't actually signed up nor am I participating in the event, I suggest people check it out. Seems like a great idea to get more people threading and spread the word of Leo threads. Have you tried the new UI? Any thoughts/opinions? Considering it's still an alpha I'm pretty impressed so far! Apparently, they have a big update coming to help push long-form content again also.
I just posted about the #cononationconcert there, wondering if there's anyone on Hive following along with the #kingscoronation in the UK this weekend? I know most of the UK is celebrating to some extent, maybe not necessarily about the King, but a Monday holiday and an excuse to get to the pub on a Sunday is always welcomed!
The whole weekend has been centred around the King and his coronation. I watched some of the coverage yesterday, missing the actual crowning but seeing the parade heading to the palace in the aftermath. Of course, no UK event would be complete without a group of protesters! 'Not my King!'. Seems we follow all the American trends!
Well, I think that about covers it for this post, clearly it's not one of my best works, but I'll throw in some memes to keep y'all entertained!
Sloth out!
